MEET EMILY
Emily lives in St. Louis with her fiancé, Drew, and their rescue dog, Peanut. She is equal parts detail-oriented and big picture thinker, drawn to beautiful spaces, thoughtful hospitality, and anything that feels intentional.
Long before photography became her career, she was obsessed with fashion imagery, travel, and the atmosphere of a place. She notices how light moves across a room, how a table is set, how a moment feels before it becomes a memory. That awareness shapes the way she moves through the world.
Friends would describe her as calm, perceptive, and quietly particular in the best way. She cares about quality. She cares about people. She cares about the experience, not just the outcome.
When she is not working, she is deep into a home renovation project, planning her next trip, or out with Peanut at one of their favorite neighborhood spots.

Artist's Statement
Photography, for me, begins with observation. Not just what is happening, but what it feels like in the quiet space between moments.
I am drawn to balance. Structured portraits grounded in composition. Movement and emotion left untouched. A wedding day is not a performance. It is an atmosphere shaped by light, energy, and the people inside it.
My approach is what I describe as loose editorial. Intentional, but never rigid. I know when to offer direction and when to step back. Some images require guidance to bring them fully to life. Others are strongest when they are allowed to unfold on their own. Understanding that difference is the work.
I do not chase perfection. I look for presence. The most compelling photographs are rarely the ones that were overproduced. They are the ones that feel real and still refined.
As an artist, I am committed to creating work that reflects individuality rather than repetition. I welcome and celebrate clients of all backgrounds, identities, and expressions of love. Every story deserves to be seen with care and respect.
The goal is not simply to document a wedding day. It is to create images that hold weight. Photographs that feel modern, honest, and unmistakably yours.
