Lauren and Nick's wedding at The Bardot in Kansas City began at Hotel Phillips, continued with skyline portraits near the National WWI Museum and Memorial, and ended with a room full of family and friends celebrating together.

A Moment to Take It In
Before the ceremony, a little time together.
First looks give everyone a chance to take it all in. The anticipation, the reactions, and those first few minutes together before the rest of the day begins.

With the wedding party ready, we headed into the city for portraits. The area around the National WWI Museum and Memorial has one of those views that immediately says Kansas City.

After portraits overlooking the skyline, Lauren and Nick arrived at The Bardot for their ceremony. Their guests filled the space, ready to celebrate alongside them.

The Bardot's statement lighting and architectural details made a beautiful setting for Lauren and Nick's reception. Their custom decor, florals, and tables brought even more personality into the room.

Speeches, music, and the people who make it memorable.
Once the formalities were finished, the night belonged to the guests. Lost Wax brought the live music, and everyone had a reason to stay close to the dance floor.
The photographs I always come back to are the ones with people in them. A reaction across the room. Friends catching up. Someone laughing during a speech. Years later, those are the faces you'll want to see again.
