ENGAGEMENT HIGHLIGHTS

Engagement sessions have fewer rules.

Wear the outfit you have been saving. Order a martini. Walk through your neighborhood. Take over a hotel bar. Use the city, your favorite place, or somewhere you have always wanted an excuse to go.

There is no reception waiting, no family photo list, and no timeline pulling us somewhere else. We have room to try things, change locations, play with styling, and make photographs that show a different side of the two of you.

For St. Louis engagement photography, that might mean downtown architecture, Forest Park, a favorite restaurant, rooftops, or somewhere completely personal. The location is only part of it. What matters is giving the session a point of view.

And yes, you will walk into the wedding knowing what it feels like to be photographed together. But these images should be worth having even if there were no wedding attached to them.
